2016 YALSA Teens’ Top Ten Nominees

Make your voice heard!  Every year, teens have a chance to vote on their favorite books to select the Teens’ Top Ten, a project of the Young Adult Library Services Association.  You can read and discuss the 25 titles (nominated by other teens) and earn badges for doing so.  Voting  runs from August 15-October 15.  Winners announced the following week!

If you’ve already read a book on the list below, click on it.  Then you can log in and rate the book and get badges for reading it, commenting on it, and on going beyond this site to recommend (or pan) the title on social media, check out the author’s website, or write fan fiction.

If you haven’t read any of the books yet, look for a cover that appeals to you and click on it.  You can read a short description of it, see how others have rated it, and get a link to the public library catalog so you can place a hold on it.

This year, you’ll automatically be entered into a drawing for a Kindle if you participate!

Here’s a quick video to show you the steps.  Screen-reader-friendly instructions.
